Wow, I expected this to be another boring skin scent, but figured I'd try the free sample from Sephora since the notes sounded so good. I love gourmands, but not basic one note frags. I saw reviews saying this didn't perform well, which is always disappointing, so my expectations were pretty low, and now I'm still smelling it hours later, especially on my clothes. It has that addictive quality that makes you want to keep smelling yourself!

It is very pear heavy for me, which reminds me a lot of Ariana Grande's perfumes. It's a bright, juicy, and realistic pear, like the one in God Is A Woman, but also has the more gourmand caramel note like Cloud. It performs WAY better than GIAW. I loved the pear in that, but the staying power was just unacceptable for anything more expensive than a body spray. This is what I wanted from GIAW! It's beautifully blended and balanced, with the bright fruity pear, the rich creamy indulgent vanilla, the sultry amber, yummy caramel, and the rose is a little harder for me to notice, but it's there, competing for attention, in a good way.

The only thing that would make this more perfect for me would be the addition of a spice like cinnamon, but this is still a really special gourmand that I was quite sure I wouldn't like. Now I kind of want to own it. Help.

Soft, soapy florals mixed with candied fruit and cozy, generic-room freshener vanilla. It leans fem but not overly so.

Very good projection and lasts all day.

An incredibly long-wearing real vanilla scent. It smells like vanilla pudding, with a hint of roses and musk.
