Kicks off with plasticky hairspray aldehydes, which thoroughly overwhelm a bit of berry-sweetened floral which I assume is supposed to be rose or violets. The flowers are soon pushed to the back by a green leaf accord but the real star here is that plastic aldehyde smell.Honestly, it's pretty gross - dirty, leafy green drenched in stinky plastic, with musky soured milk overtones.
It's quite possible that both the aldehydes and a bergamot topnote have gone sour here, given the age of my discontinued sample, but sour, unpleasant mixes like this were common enough in vintage times that I suspect that everything here was actually on purpose. Personally, I'd just avoid Sarcanthus and move on.
