If i had one word for this perfume, and if you are into orientals, my word would be great. I already loved Perfect Tobacco, now i truly love this as well. Very seductive, smoky, resinous and spicy, in other words magnificent for the price. Strong yet soft at the same time. No single note is over played, and it's uniqueness is quite remarkable.

The oud smells like an oriental woody accord rather than your classical oud oil/wood. As it dries down, the sweetness&the bitterness dial down significantly, giving way a soft, lightly woody oriental smell. Amber and leather dominate the smell,& are orientalized by that oriental woody accord of oud&saffron. There is also an note of sweet, warm berries underneath it all. It is not too sweet, which i love, and leans towards the masculine side imho. Lasts about 6 hours on me and sillage is good.

The title is something of a misnomer as this is primarily an oud fragrance. Amber is definitely in there however and leather is also prominant.

It's pretty linear and doesn't really divert too far away from the opening, although it does provide brief guest appearances from geranium and saffron. Thereafter you're left with the oud and its two accomplices for a long time.

Performance on this one is really good, the sillage is impressive and it is a quality fragrance for cold weather-wear. However, if you're looking for an amber-dominated release, this probably won't be it.

Also, despite being labelled as unisex, for me this definitely more than leans over to the masculine side.
