I loved the sunny, sun product, exotic opening, but I felt a bit of sadness when I smelled the dry down was only a lugubre vintage floral. The fun had disappeared.

I love this, warm, spicy and a pure scent of summer. Very easy to wear especially after the initial spray which might seem a little harsh to some. Longevity is terrible on me though - literally gone after half an hour! A 30ml bottle won't last long as will need to keep re-applying.

This is like applying a very luxuriously scented suntan oil; warm, creamy, voluptuous white flowers, mainly tiare, with a hint of coconut & an ambery base. lf you love beachy scents, l recommend giving this a try.

Oh WOW! It's lovely just on its own terms, and perhaps you will love it even more if you have a long and good relationship with the oil. I wouldn't call it a skin scent until about 4 hours in. Until then, it's a creamy sweet somewhat indistinct white floral. Gardenia, yes, but not strictly a soliflore. As with the oil, I find the salty mineral accord quite appealing, and such a pleasing complement to the sweetness of the florals.

In making the composition an EDP, the florals really pop more than they do in the oil, which could be a good thing or a bad thing, depending on your preferences. Being very amber-centric, I've enjoyed layering it with an earthy, dirty, hippie amber (a dirty musk would probably be great, too). The amber grounds it, warms it up, and causes the florals to recede a bit, taking it closer in spirit to what I'd imagined/hoped it would smell like extrapolated from the oil.

Should you wonder how it compares to Kai, they're quite different - Kai is much more green, and cooler in feel, like shade in the tropics; Prodigieux is buttery, all hot sandy beach, and while not a complicated fragrance, a little more so than Kai.
