It was a real surprise for me, a good surprise! There is something sweet and salty and musky in an interesting way about this but it is like a changeling: within 30 minutes the sea notes and it creates a very earthy, salty. It definitely has lilac but it's part of the overall blend.Overall this is a niche-like idea, so if you are looking for a standard warm weather scent I'm not sure this is going to work for you. However, if you were looking for a subtle scent that should work in all but cold weather, this might be one worth sampling or blind buying if you also see it at a low price.
