A nice rose impression is opening this one, a touch dark in the Damascene style, but lighter than usual, not really velvety or smooth; it is more on the elegant side. There is a discretely earthy touch to this rose, together with hints of the rosewood of the stems in the rose bouquet. Well made.

The drydown adds a light spicy element, together with other floral vibes, mainly whiffs of oleander and carnation, but on my skin the rose always prevails.

I get moderate sillage, excellent projection and seven hours of longevity.

An interesting total-rose concept and nicely executed; nothing spectacular but a very pleasant spring rose scent. 3/5.
