A fresh and juicy lime/grapefruit combo with reduced vetiver/pepper notes compared to the original. The mojito accord afforded by mint and rum is still present but much-diluted; no-one will suspect you of indulging in cocktail hour prematurely. In fact, it is very safe, with no gaudy notes whatsoever. As with many predominantly citrus scents, the Achilles heel is feeble potency, necessitating 20 sprays to get it to last half a day with anything beyond skin-scent projection. I recommend a 10 spray top-up at lunchtime. Nice for hot weather, where the more interesting orientals, fougeres and chypres might prove enervating.

Well, I had lots of hope for this but it wasn't something that I've expected.
It's a fresh, herbal minty fragrance that smells very pleasant and nice but something that I didn't like is the sweetness in it.
I like my citrusy fragrances tart, fresh, watery and minty ones herbal with cooling vibe and without sweetness because sweetness in hot weather can easily get cloying and disturbing.(at least for me!)
I don't like citrusy fragrances juicy and sweet because most of citruses in real life are tart and sour not sweet and juicy!
This fragrance opens up with herbal and sweet minty smell with some fresh citruses in the background.
It does have a little bitter aura and some earthy feeling but overall feeling of the scent is sweet herbal minty smell with some juicy citruses.
As time goes by the scent didn't change that much. it only gets smoother.
Projection is good and longevity is around 5 hours.
Good and quality fragrance but not for my taste.

Great fragrance that exceeds the original and Intense in quality and purpose. The opening of L'Eau is a natural and very pleasant lime and grapefruit with a touch of mint. Invigorating and uplifting especially on a hot day. This isn't a heavy or "look at me" fragrance. It sets close to the skin, but not so close to where others won't smell it on you. The dry down is also very natural and has the Guerlain quality that you expect. There's nothing cheap or over done. It retains a bit of the top notes and adds in some geranium, woods, and I detect vetiver. The only part about L'Eau that isn't up to part is that it's hard to find. Think LIDGE.

So glad I bought this. Today it was hot as hell outside and I had a lot of compliments, my girlfriend said I smell nice and she noticed it from quite a distance. Then her mother said don't go, You smell so good =) Projects sooo nicely in hot weather. Great!

The best from the whole "homme" line. This contains a mojito vibe but has also a lemonade feeling.

To me it smells like water with lemon and mint plus a bit of mojito and the woody vetiver base. It also has a green-like feeling. Freakin awesome and I finally found my signature scent. Cool!
