Faquat Lil Rijal is a light but satisfying blend of warm geranium/rose with dry saffron and cardamom spice over a woods and suede leather base. The rose and saffron gives it a classic arabic rose quality warmth while the light woods base keeps the scent airy and light compared to the heavier rose saffron oud scents that populate the market today. The darkness and depth of oud is notably absent in this formula.

The fragrant notes listed are Top notes of Saffron, Bergamot; Middle notes of Geranium, Cardamom, Jasmine, Rice; Base notes of Patchouli, Leather, Sandalwood and Musk. I think of this as a lighter and very wearable Arabic style saffron, rose and woods masculine. Rated 7 of 10.

I blind bought Rasasi Faqat Lil Rijal. Nice packaging but some what expensive for 50ml.

I really didn't like it when I first sprayed it. The opening was a strong animalic scent like a strong French cheese. This is the first oud fragrance I've tried. I think it's the oud notes which contribute to this. After an hour into the dry down this had disappeared revealing more sweeter notes. I can also detect leather in the base notes.

I quite liked it in the end but I found the performance disappointing in both projection and sillage. After an 1.5 hours it became a skin scent for me. I'll wear it again but I doubt I'll buy it again when my bottle runs out.

Aptly named, this can be a little overwhelming at first, and certainly not for the faint of heart with monstrous projection (you can smell this from another room) and longevity. It dries down beautifully and has tons of character. I like oud, rose, the middle eastern vibe in general, and this fits perfectly. I'll leave it to others better than me to describe the notes. I'm a fan of this one. It's a bargain, too.

Very strong skanky Middle Eastern oud fragrance. Opens with oud and saffron giving a leather vibe. Starts very syrupy and resinous with an animalic character before it smooths out after 15 or 20 minutes. Longevity and projection are beastly. Not recommended for noses with a strictly western sensibility. Great bang for your buck. "Only For Men" is a solid offering from Rasasi a solid up and coming Middle Eastern house.

Loud and dirty oud with some rose. Reminds me of Bonds New York Oud. Not a safe blind buy, must test.

This one projects and lasts all day and night, excellent performance.

I must have gotten a bad sample. Based on the hundreds of over-the-top glowing reviews on that "other fragrance forum" I thought I'd love this. I love aoud, skanky, royal, middle eastern frags. It was a disappointment. Powerful? yes but there was a combination of notes that put me off. What a disappointment.

I think this resembles Cartier's Declaration D'Un Soir, though not as soft.
The oud here is not soft or clean like Cartier's D.U.S., thereby not so feminine.

Cartier's scent does not evolve while this does go from the oud/rose start to a more soft musk/sandlewood.

Before I purchased this I noticed that all reviews I've seen on YouTube have really good words for this scent.
Projection and lifespan of this scent is really good.

Good fragrance for the little amount of money spent.
