Oudy, green, rosy, somewhat bitter, and mysteriously fruity. This perfume smells unfinished to me. The sweet top notes roll off quickly leaving the composition with a faded top, while the base notes lack the depth I would prefer in a fragrance as rich and complex as this one. It's fine layered over a grounding base, but at this price, one shouldn't need to layer. In addition, no fruit notes are listed, but I definitely detect an overripe sweet/sour note that combines with the prominent oud to create a somewhat sickly effect. The effect worsens in heat and dissipates in cold weather, further limiting use cases for this spendy investment. I don't know if the edition is limited, but the bottle is nice, so I'll consider it a collectors item. Not a safe one to buy without sampling.
