Very interesting take on the Dunhill Desire series.
Opening starts with the common citrus duo of bergamot and mandarin orange; it is more airy than I'd expected, a departure from the pungent in-your-face quality of Dunhill Desire Red and Blue. Cardamom adds an almost soapy fresh feel, side by side with the delicate floral freshness of violet leaf, along with a "wet" water accord to surprise the smeller. All this sits atop a dry, warm base of vetiver, birch, and sweet amber.
Not at all what I had expected, although the silver bottle ought to hint that this has a different take than the usual Desire flankers. It is meant for warm temperatures and is light enough not to knock over your peers (a quality which typified Red / Blue). Longevity is decent, esp. with a light layering.
Unusual but wearable, atypical "Desire" flanker interpretation for today.
