Like a watermelon-rhubarb margaritas with your boyfriend on his boat, listening to your favorite music in the warm summer sun looking out onto the sparkling blue lake.a very pleasant summer fragrance.it reminds me of hair freshly washed with a fruity-floral shampoo. simple, juicy, joyful, delicious, sweet and aquatic.
On the initial spray you're greeted with a loud tart rhubarb with refreshing aquatic watermelon and a juicy kiwi.the aquatic notes turn this into such a refreshing fragrance.the jasmine does add the candied edge to this.finally the dry downs are unisex and muskier, mature with a warm musk and some sandalwood. it's a type of fragrance you can wear while on vacation, enjoying long hot days and warm nights on the beach.
A lot of hate this one which is undeserved in my opinion. Yes, there's fruit here and yes this isn't incredible complex but it does smell expensive, sexy and it smells great on women. Performance is eh but still thumbs up overall.
This is a bunch of fruit. I get a nice acidity. Rhubarb, red currant and kiwi are well present and natural. There's some green banana as well. I quite love it.
When D & G fragrances (and Gucci for that matter) turned into Victoria's Secrets fragrances, I lost interest. Exhibit A: L'Imperatrice 3.
I thought the sweet, musky "berry blend" opening was bad, but got even worse when the watermelon showed up. Gobs of screechy white musk throughout. Lasts forever, naturally.
Hard to believe this is the same house that produced the distinctive, classy original "red cap" for women and the more traditional, but deliciously masculine "blue cap" for men.
A fruity watermelon opening note sees nice kiwi fruit impression intermingled with it, resulting in a pleasantly summery beginning. I get a rhubarb-like component in the drydown, followed by a musky base; the latter is a bit less well made.
I get soft sillage, decent projection and five hours of longevity. Not particularly exciting but well made - this is overall pleasant and nice. 2.5/5
