Today I tried this at a BBW store. As a woman it is too much for me to wear.. But I love the scent, it strongly reminds me of Yankee Candle Citrus and Sage. If they had it as a room spray or candle I would have purchased in a flash. I think I would love to smell this on a man.. Opens fresh from the citrus but not sour. Sweet and Herbal from the Sage with a touch of lavender. A bit of warmth comes in later with the woods & tonka beans.
Sillage was great without being too much, however I removed it after a 1/2 hour so cannot comment on longevity.
I think Bath & Body Works might have discontinued this men's fragrance recently because it was not on the shelf a few weeks ago when I was in their shop.Citron, as the name implies, is a fresh citrusy everyday scent. What makes it a little different from some of the others is a hint of vanilla, which gives it a warmer character and some complexity to it.
I'm a blue collar guy in Philly, so I can't extrapolate on why I like some scents and hate others. I like this one. It's inexpensive, but it doesn't smell cheap. No it's not heavenly like some of the costlier colognes I have by, say, Hermes; but at around 30 bucks a bottle it's a good every day scent to sprinkle on after shaving.
