Like a watercolor painting with swirls of purple and iris; hues of blue; a layer of green, brownish gray round shapes strewn along the bottom. It is really beautifully soft and comforting. It reminds me of the sunlight you can see clash through the clouds on a rainy day, the kind of light that looks almost like a clairvoyance on the sky.

At first spritz there is a burst of green notes and citrus mixed with the dreamy iris. I am not getting a lot of iris, but it does emerge as it dries down and becomes bit more like an old fashioned high end powder compact. It reminds me of L'heure Bleue's dry down smell, albeit a little sweet. Corallo doesn't have the longevity of other Xerjoffs I've tried.

I'm infatuated with this one.

The herbal greenery here adds an entirely new aspect to what would have been a traditional and vintage-seeming feminine. Instead, what you get is something like L'Heure Bleue mixed with Apres L'Ondee, and focusing on all the best aspects of each. The opening salvo of Corallo is truly a thing of effervescent beauty--a gorgeous, uplifting mixture of bergamot and and lavender and a magical concoction of herbs. The scent then slides into a more floral mixture that features Xerjoff's typically beautiful iris. The base notes of amber and vanilla show up a bit too early for my taste, and the whole thing is a trifle ephemeral for its price, but overall, it's a wonder.

I can't get enough of this house. The opening was a candy cherry (or is it almond? I always mix them up) softened by powder. Then the lavender quickly came in and imposed itself in the most unexpected blend. Yet you can still distinguish the powdery iris and a fresh, clean and greenish jasmine. So great, with good performances.

Lovely aromatic-floral scent from Xerjoff's Casamorati 1888 collection!

Lavender and iris - two of my favorite fragrant notes - dominate in Corallo. The green note (not listed above) also colors this scent throughout the wear cycle. There is a nice powdery flair to Corallo that the amber and vanilla bring to this, and a healthy, fresh floral combo of jasmine and neroli that sharpen the experience ever so slightly.

Good longevity and sillage, Corallo can be worn nearly all year round on an especially casual basis.
