The company says:

According to ancient Greek mythology, the first fig tree was created when the rebellious Sykeus was turned into the same by his mother, Gaia, Goddess of the Earth, saving him from the wrath of Zeus.

Athenean is a reworking of Figuier, one of the earlier scents in the collection. Here, the emphasis is on the fragrant wood of the fig tree. Aquatic green notes are balanced with warm, undertones of sandalwood, musk and amber.

Fig leaf, vanilla ice cream sweetness, something zingy and fresh that dies out fairly soon, strong coconut water, a bit of minty freshness.

It's high quality for sure, well built. It's a little different take on fig leaf that is quite sweet and almost sugar like. I can't say I would wear often because of the sweetness. It would go well with a white linen suit on a warm spring/summer day.

If you like fig trees and sweet scents, absolutely get a sample, it might be your jam.
