Réminiscence (1999)

This jewel of elegance and balance is the most underrated among the Reminiscence line, and it's a pity because this way, it got difficult to find it both in stores and online.
Oriental woody, it opens with a short-living blast of sweet citrus, followed by a nice set of woody notes: cedar, patchouli and vetiver; benzoin, Tolu balsam, tonka bean and and vanilla dip the composition into a shimmering cloud of light, almost impalpable. The only heart note is a delicate, powdery, luminous rose; an ethereal, teenage rose feeling which, instead of balancing woods, is wrapped into and pampered by them. The presence of many base notes of this depth make the scent diffuse gently but steadily and with persistence. Rose+woods today is quite trendy, Reminiscence Paris achieved a great risult 15 years in advance!
