Yes, basically the original formula slightly toned down by a more massive (and longly performing) citrus presence and by a tad of "sultry" marine patterns. A more versatile and wearable formula with a tad of tartness along the way. Dry down is leathery and I detect the leather (a bitter/sweet "sweaty" leather) more significantly this way.

For me, 1 Million Cologne is better smelled under your clothes or in the air, not directly from skin. It's just too floral-strong and rose-feminine up close but once you get some distance from it, it's nice.

Mostly what I can smell is the citrus in the beginning and then the rose-cardamom which is a little powdery. There's also just a little of the original 1 Million DNA in the scent but having both would not be repetitive.

Projection and longevity are not as good on me as the original but Cologne is still above average in projection and I get somewhere around 6-7 hours longevity.

This was a blind buy for me. I don't find anything necessarily wrong with it. It's not overpowering and not too sweet. It's masculine but soft enough to wear during spring and summer if you're not into overly fruity/citrus/aqua scents.

This has replaced the original 1 million for me, which I find too suffocating ..I've had it for 2 days and received 2 compliments (great silage), I don't feel too much nausea wearing this and yes it does have that slight modern paco rabanne over use of bay leaf, but it's bearable (unlike invictus which is full on night club attention seeker). The citrus and marine have made this lighter and wearable in most situations, although it is a bit juvenile. Strong use of rose in this and it makes it borderline granny's handbag. I think overall I'm wearing this for the females and not necessarily for myself.

Somewhere in the neighborhood of Invictus & 1 million, although I would prefer one of those to Paco Rabanne 1 million cologne. I should mention that I was not blown away by Invictus either. On my skin this smells like something my grandma would wear - perhaps it's the sweetness & prominent rose note. I don't get much of the citrus. Very unisex fragrance IMO. Definitely a pass for me.

Even though the note breakdown shows four note, it seems like there is too much going on. I think the leather is the deal breaker for me. Starts out slightly nose stinging and just wasn't my vibe. IMO, the intense version is the best one.
