Hednic, have you tried moisturizing shampoos, or conditioners? In my case, my hair is very oily, and if I miss a day or two of washing it, it's quite greasy.I wash my hair too often and let the necessary good oils get depleted. This needs to change but I just don't like feeling unclean. At my age and this point of my life, what does it really matter.
I use both, but two showers daily has been my ritual for decades.Hednic, have you tried moisturizing shampoos, or conditioners?

Yeah, that wouldn't work for me.on the overwashing of hair so just washing less often can resolve it over time (like if you are washing everyday, skip one day first, then two).
Also tending to over-wash hair (almost daily with little to no exception) due to being aware on one hand of having oily hair.
But also about overreacting in the direction of depleting any natural skin balance and/or less harmful oiliness by almost neurotically washing too often.
In the U.S., Innersense Hydrating Cream Cleanser is good. The conditioner in that line (Hydrating Cream Conditioner) is the best on the market today, really an exceptional product. I condition my hair when I wash it and can rinse it out with water usually twice before having to condition again, nothing else in my life has ever worked like that on my hair. It's quite concentrated too, I use about 4 pumps from the liter bottle (about 4 TBSP), rake it into sections then rinse only the roots - stylist taught me how - but this is considerably less conditioner than I used even for leave in conditioner before.Try a cream shampoo which will be more hydrating, and won't deplete oils and dry out your hair. A popular brand in Japan is Kamika, it's little more expensive than regular shampoos.
Thank you so much for the advice. While this particular brand might still be currently unavailable or difficultly available where I (currently) live, might still further look into and for it and its nearest official retailers before a more the next more substantial hair care product (s) buy.Try a cream shampoo which will be more hydrating, and won't deplete oils and dry out your hair.
