Morning all!

lt's cloudy here down south this morning, but should brighten up again later. Our lawn was getting very dry after a couple of weeks with no rain, so we got the hosepipe fixed up yesterday & l gave it a drink. l wouldn't normally be too bothered, but having newly overseeded it just a couple of months ago, l wanted to give the new grass a helping hand before we get another hosepipe ban. :)

l'm wearing Le Chevrefeuille for my late shift today.

Good morning all !. teardrop, we have also been watering our lawn. We have had very little rain for nearly two months and there is no sign of any in the near future. I just hope we don't get the brief but unbearable heat we had last summer that decimated it completely🤞

kewart, hope you have a relaxing break in France. Consider me hugely envious :)

Good morning everyone :) Seems like Northern-Norway highjacked all the rain lately :/ It's been miserably cold (I even took out my winterjacket again), with either rain or snow for weeks now. And aparantly it's suppose to stay that way for weeks too :( At least it's nice study weather. Deadline for the essay is tomorrow by noon. I feel I'm nearly there, but I need to write more on some parts and tound it up. Sotd is Dune. Have a great day everyone :)

My 240th Montale!

I've always wondered whether Hednic used a spreadsheet to track his perfume purchases, and I think this answers the question. I certainly can't imagine that he counted all those bottles to figure out which number Montale this was.

l wanted to give the new grass a helping hand before we get another hosepipe ban. :)

Do you actually have watering restrictions in Britain? That would astonish me, in such a famously damp place.

Partly because Foxbins mentioned iris yesterday, and partly because I stumbled on a bar of vintage No. 19 soap last week while rummaging around in a box of old samples... so today I can have a right old wallow with a Chanel shower and a good dousing with my favorite of the old EDTs.

The garish print ad belies a lovely, dewy spring floral with a softly powdery drydown. And the perfumer is Christopher Sheldrake. 🥰 Take care, all. 🫂❤️

The person who created that ad obviously never came within sniffing distance of Tocadilly. I've never seen an ad that so badly represented a perfume. Audacity? Power? Hardly.
