I'm wearing Rouge Smoking, an oddly subdued scent for a name that evokes something more powerful to me. It's sunny and warm here, and I think I'm making steak and tots for dinner. Not a green vegetable in sight until Saturday, when I'll go to the farmer's market.

I'm just checking in...stitches are out of my upper gums and palate. My mouth feels a little weird. I'm missing tooth #13 (that's a second bicuspid upper left.) My band-aid over the bone graft is out-- success there, just a few months to heal and get solid for an implant.

A plumber came today to fix my tub faucet--quick, easy for him, and reasonable price. Glad to have that done.

@HouseOfPhlegethon I had missed the news that your husband had a compression fracture and Vit. D deficiency. I'm sorry to hear all that, and hope he can heal as soon as possible.

@CookBot There isn't much haze around here--not more than many a summer day. It's up there according to the mapping but looking out to the distance it's barely noticeable.
