SOTD is Paris-Venise, from a very special bottle.

The sky is a bit clearer today, and the air smells a lot better. Logan won’t be finished school until the third week of June, but his 5th graduation ceremony is next Thursday. Cue the ugly cry face.

How is this version of Passage? It's one of my favorite fragrances.

The Canadian wildfire smoke has drifted as far south as South Carolina, so we had haze from it yesterday, and I understand it's as far west as Shycat in Nashville, too. Fortunately it rained all night so isn't bad this morning, and it's expected to drift away after tomorrow.

From the "All Weather is Subjective" file: last night I had messages cross in the mail with my friend in Glasgow, and we each remarked about our weather -- him complaining about the heat wave they're having, me crowing about how delightfully cool it's been here. And we were both talking about the exact same temperature: 24C/78F.

About the same here today, and a fine time for a summery citrus: Moustache 'Original 1949' by Rochas. Nowhere near as dude-like as its name implies, a delightful citrus refresher with a violet leaf heart and a base of that modern "patchouli-lite" and pale musks.

I am in Sarah Horowitz Perfect Coconut Milk with a small spray also of Madhat Piña, the pineapple in celebration of a wildly successful batch of Tepache and the S.Horowitz in celebration of summer. Though the rains have failed this week
