Good morning.

I had a much better night’s sleep thank goodness and feel ready to face the day.
I get bouts of insomnia quite regularly and they are hard to cope with.

So pleased to hear kosui no koari’s father is on the mend.
Hopefully Cazaubon will feel better soon too.

Another bird lover here, Jon. We get an amazing variety of birds in our garden being so close to lots of trees and the River Severn. A jay and two red legged partridges are our favourites.

I have an appointment at the hairdressers later this morning and will wear Omnia by Bulgari.

Good morning all !. kewart, we also get those birds in our garden occasionally. Our current favourite is a Green Woodpecker that is visiting on a regular basis. We get them most years when the ants start appearing but this one is particularly tame.

@JON RODGERS - That is a very cool looking bird!

We have an army of finches living in our rafters and bushes. They like to gang up and chase off the blue jays and ravens. Right now, there's a battle over some prime real estate near the front door. We're having a drama-filled season so far.

La Vanile Pure Vanilla with Aromas de Salazar Cafe Oud (submitted for Directory)

Coffee with sugar fading down into a glorious vanilla musk.
Perfect for a day where I plan to spend most of it writing and drinking coffee. (Goes great with my current cup of Stumptown Hair Bender)

Have a great day everyone!

Still with the cold but still can smell OK and in Mure et Musc Extreme. Last night the Nuxe Dry Oil, that stuff smells lovely, kind of old lady smelling to me but gentle and beautiful.

Hello and best to everyone. It’s Commencement at work today. It has been a tradition to hold a luncheon honoring faculty and staff for their outstanding service on this day. This year’s luncheon is the first one since COVID shut us down. I am one of the honorees this year. In attendance will be my family as well as my colleagues from all the offices that I have worked in. SOTD is Narciso Rouge. Take care, all. 🫂❤️

That's a beautiful photo, Jon. Such a colorful bird.

Congratulations, Tdem! I think it's great that your dedication and hard work have been recognized.

I'm wearing Angel's Share, I wanted something a little bit boozy and my Frapin is in Honolulu. Another big branch fell off my maple tree this week so I will go cut it up this morning with my little battery chainsaw.

I'm pre-syncing with Guerlain Mitsouko PDT and perfume Extrait concentrations. It turns out they work nicely together, going hand in hand complementing each other.

Kudos to Terry on the career milestone!

I'm sampling today, a bonus one that came with a Perris purchase. Cedro di Diamante by Perris Monte Carlo, have only had it on an hour or so, but already it seems like a very impressive interpretation of the famous Calabrian citrus. I love a good lemon cologne, but this one has the structure of an eau de parfum, with a gingery heart and a very elegant creaminess, nothing bitter or sour. A bigger decant and further evaluation might be needed.

The description on CaFleurBon made me think of Trilby Lark and laugh:
a bracing and electrifying pure green citrus jolt which is perfect for summer splashing; a grown-up version of the beloved Jean Nate splash from the 70’s, but without the sweet and floral overload.
...but I swear it smells nothing like Jean Nate. And the sprig of tarragon in the photo is misleading too, since it hasn't got a trace of anise or licorice in it.

The scent it reminds me of most is the old Love's Lemon Cologne from Mem in the 1970s.
