Good morning all !. Applied today's choice with some trepidation considering it's fearsome reputation. The extreme animalic beast ?. Not really. It is primarily a castoreum fragrance with an animal fur accord that is really quite approachable. Definitely worthwhile but I'll stick with L'Ombre Fauve. It is better and cheaper

I've felt a bit sad lately due to the work situation, but doing tjings I like and catch up with old friends helps Later today my youngest sister and I are going to a silent movie with added live music Sotd is Le parfum de Therese.

A smoother iteration of Kayali's Lovefest Burning Cherry.
It's fine.
The "inspired by Lost Cherry" trend is fine, but I've learned that this is a category that I'm just meh about.

If I had to have a scent in this category - and had unlimited funds - I'd probably choose this one.
Since I don't need it, and don't have unlimited funds - I'll happily drain this sample and likely forget about it the next day.

If I had to have a scent in this category - and had unlimited funds - I'd probably choose this one.

You'd probably regret, because even though the scent is fine it only lasts a couple of hours!

Yup - I noticed that too.

The State of Mind scents have a pretty dry-down, but they go skin scent very quickly and this one disappeared completely at about the 3-hour mark.
The others I've tried have done a better job of lingering on my skin. I'm getting 6-8 hours for most of the line so far.
