I periodically switch mine. Sometimes a photo I took, other times just something that speaks to me. No hidden messages or whatnot. Strictly based on what I’m enjoying, like fragrance. Currently it’s a cropped version of a stunning photo taken by legendary photographer Fan Ho. Below is what I cropped from…

No story, but, I suppose i'll take this opportunity to state that I did not take a photo of myself while I was driving, someone else took it, and I was coming to a stop. She told me to smile, but I barely even smirked. 😏
Well…it is, “straight to the point”.CoolGuy was taken, CoolGuy1 was taken and also CoolGuy123, so I had to come up with something original.

My avatar and screen name are coming from the same person: Ernst Jünger, a german author and philosopher.
We also share the same birthday.
Factory Records had such great artwork. My avatar is from the 12" single of New Order’s “True Faith”. It’s both my favorite song and favorite cover. The designer, Peter Saville, inspired me to study graphic design, and the story goes that while working on this project, a leaf landed on his windshield and he simply thought, “That’s beautiful.” The song is not only a fantastic dance tune, the lyrics suggest that life is full of joyful moments (“I feel so extraordinary”) and well worth living. It hints at New Order’s history, as they carried on after the tragic suicide of their original lead singer, and it became a hopeful anthem for me as well.
