I hone myself as well. It's relaxing as long as I haven't bought one with a bad bevel lol.
It's crazy that I can shave with a straight that's at least 164 years old. I've thought about buying several that are cracked or chipped and getting a knife made out of one. The steel is peerless these days.
While combining modern (often system/cartridge) razors with traditional shaving soaps and creams, otherwise quite open and enthusiastic about certain more traditional items and habits of everyday life.
Including but not limited to a certain preference for making the best out of PCs, TVs or cellphones, even landlines owned that are not always latest generation but still functional, old books, bar soaps, traditional (frequently overlapping with organic, gourmet and/or slow food) cuisine, often classic tailored yet mostly basic outfits, handmade accessories, collectible wristwatches, aged wines and spirits and, of course, vintage fragrances.
