What is your iciest materials?

Hello ! I have been using traces of menthol, spearmint, eucalyptol or c12 mna to add the cold feeling to openings to mids but would like widen my options.

Do you know any materials that can be used for an ice accord? Ideally something that can be used in higher amounts without having too much of a distinct smell.

That can be used in high dose without overwhelm with its smell, but only cooling effect, I have not idea, but a good use of lavender eo can help. Menthone, geranium.
Freskomenthe is an ice fresh material that can be used in big dosage without to be overly minty.

To what that's already mentioned I'd add Coranol + DHM + something exotic like Cardamom aldehyde and Frescile (aldehyde with chilling effect and strong metallic citrusy note).

MENTHYL ACETATE, tea like cooling and possibly try it out, I have it from perfumers apprentice but haven't experimented with it much yet.

Oh now that you mentioned tea, I would say also the theaspirane, that can have some cooling effect.

Not necessarily "icy" but Vernaldehyde/green carbaldehyde has a noticeable cold air/winter wind aspect my nose.

menthol is the most aceptable material followed by eucalyptol that u have in the direction of a ice accord. the others have a more distinct smell. as i can tell u want more of an effect than a smell. ill play with menthol, linalool, hydroxycitronellal and hedione, for the effect.
