Was thinking about Sweetie Aoud, Oceania, Amber Aoud or Danger. There's a few Roja's that I quite enjoy.
Sweetie Aoud and Amber Aoud are great choices. I have an older bottle of Creation-E pure parfum and its wonderful, maybe the best I've tried from him except for Kingdom of Saudi Arabia which I sold off a while ago, but it was in my top 3 for sure. Was thinking about Sweetie Aoud, Oceania, Amber Aoud or Danger.
I tried wearing Dans Paris in the daytime, and nighttime. I would avoid daytime, it smells feminine, when i wear it at night, it feels more sexy and less like a regular feminine sweet scent. Maybe sounds weird but i think this is made for the nighttime, and cold air.Thats a great house to try out, Nightclubbing and Dans Paris being my favorites that I've tried.
I was searching up this brand, have you had a chance to explore it yet? Tutela's notes intrigues me the most.Looking to explore Soul Of Makeen to see what it's about.
I had resercherd it when it first appeared at Jovoy in Paris but dismissed it, when I found out that it was a Kuwaiti based house. However, I'd be interested in hearing your thoughts if you decide to explore it yourself.I was searching up this brand, have you had a chance to explore it yet? Tutela's notes intrigues me the most.
2 great choices from DS&D!I've ignored a lot of houses for a long time, in part to avoid falling down too many more rabbit holes. One I finally tried recently was Villoresi, with a blind buy of Sandalo; it was rough sledding on the first wear, but I've come to love it and look forward to exploring more. In that spirit I've had a bottle of Villoresi's Atman Xaman stuck in shipping limbo for about a month. Hopefully I'll get my hands on that soon.
Perhaps inspired by @Pheusinger's posts, I've also recently felt inspired to finally give D.S. & Durga the time of day. Early on I wrote them off due to price and market posture (i.e., hipster presentation) - I don't have anything against popular Brooklyn-based brands, but something about the branding made me think of "niche" houses like Byredo or Vilhelm, where the presentation is nice and what little I've tried feels tepid and painfully overpriced. Looking closer at DS&D, these don't look tepid at all, quite the opposite, and I'm really curious to try them. With that in mind... today I snapped up bottles of Bowmakers and Mississippi Medicine at a heavy discount... figures crossed they pan out!
