I purchased another bottle of Thomas Kosmala No. 4— Après l’Amour at Dillards full retail. Being the scentophile deviant that I am, I have been keeping one a secret. I've decided to let it out because this one doesn't need to be slept on. It is an EDP and IMO, performs better than one. Sillage and longevity are excellent on me and the smell is quite unique. I didn't care for the others in the line, but this one is special. Give it a sniff. Now I'm truly transparent and hold no secrets from my colleagues here lol.

Woo Hoo! One of my "white whales" popped up.

I am looking to possibily move to Palm Springs and Floris made a special edition in 2014 for a Palm Springs clothing store. It showed up on my radar a couple of years ago, but is discontinued and the st\ore it was made for has closed. I could never find it anywhere - not even the "bay." But it showed up as available at an online discounter site for a not outrageous price.

It's a total blind buy, but from the online research I've done, it sounds a bit like No. 89, a sort of mature gentlemanly vibe. Really looking forward to this one.

Congrats on finding your whale!!! I remember a seller that had a package of this and another one I can't remember.... it was another one-off that may have been named after a town in England. The pricing was pretty good but I could find almost nothing about either scent online. Wasn't clear if the other one was female or unixex even. Anyway, I made a couple of very low offers but he found someone else that offered much closer to asking and bought it.......

Clive Christian ... Vision in a Dream- Mesmeric... I am back at trying to collect all of these tall blue bottle releases (75ml) from several years ago. I find many of the womens releases to be unisex or masculine in this fantastic line of releases for men and women. Overall, I find CC perfumes to be of high quality and great value if you find them at discounters. CC perfumes have become my office safe scents that tend to last the whole work day unlike most of the recent designer and niche perfumes that I have purchased.

P.S. I may be uninspired by some CC perfumes, but I am rarely disappointed in their quality or longevity! Finding at a good price is the key!

Tauer Lonestar Memories - first purchase resulting from my campfire sampling spree in the other thread. There are 2-3 more I’d like to pick up, but this one has a magical charm all its own. Smoky leather and spices over a hearty dose of myrrh.

Parfum d’Empire Immortelle Corse - do I need another immortelle scent? Probably not. Is this the best immortelle I’ve tried? You bet. Apricot, lemon, saffron, and oakmoss, all dipped in that glowing, golden immortelle.

Perfumer’s Workshop Tea Rose - classic cheapie rose soliflore. A blind buy.

Guerlain ... Shalimar (vintage extrait)... I just purchased a boxless, vintage bottle (of unknown age) from Ebay. The stopper is broken and looks to have been broken for a long time, so I am not sure how I will get into the bottle. There are no markings or stickers on the base of the bottle to provide clues to the age, but the metal button on the cord has lots of rust (and it came from an estate sale in middle America). I recently decanted my extraits into atomizers and I have been going through vintage extrait at a fast pace, so I am trying to replenish my supply. However, it is hard to find vintage bottles at reasonable prices these days so I have resorted to damaged bottles as an option.

Id like to look at getting the Extrait because I have the EdC and EdP, which I quite enjoy. Is it just that much better? I’ve been eyeing some on Mercari btw.

@Toxicon I love Immortelle Corse too. Did you try their Tabac Tabou? I’m enjoying it a lot now as my fall scent, there is immortelle in the base.
