What are you eyeing right now...?

We have threads for what did you buy today, what's wow'd you lately, what's disappointed you, what did you try today, and, what are you waiting for in the mail...but I can't actually see one for purchases you are currently mulling over (apologies if one does exist; I couldn't find it)...

For me, I really want to try Agneta and Guethary from Eight & Bob's Les Extraits line. Agneta in particular with its coffee, oud and spice sounds very much to my tastes. Too expensive for me to blind buy, and I haven't seen any samples around...but I sure am curious. And tempted. I've also been meaning to explore the Rogue Perfumery line for a while now. Maybe that could be next...

So, what potential purchases are you eyeing right now?

I'm kinda in the mood for something very spicy (in a hot, sweltering chili pepper sort of way). So if I stumble on something in that vein that sounds promising, I might pull the trigger.

Affordable-more fragrances by Monotheme Venezia, especially their citrus lines and their vetiver

Pricier, while still consistent quality and rewarding at almost any cost-at least another Floris, maybe Santal due to certain comparisons to the meanwhile discontinued Gucci Envy, possibly also Cefiro due to the possible similarity to another classic, namely Blenheim Bouquet.

Nothing. I am finished buying bottles for myself now that I'm retired and have a limited income. Will be content with my roughly 60 bottle collection--and purchasing samples here and there to expand my knowledge and to keep having fun with this wonderful hobby. :)

Full bottles i'm contemplating are Nimitr and Ayutthaya by Parfum Prissana, Passport a Paris by DSH, or potentially MAAI by Bogue Profumo.

I'm really impressed with the new Diptyque Eau Rihla, but I'll need a few more wears to determine if I want to pull the trigger.

I’ve fallen in big love with Chanel eau de Cologne but the longevity on me is abysmal. I expected it to be fleeting, and I’m not one to complain about longevity, but this is really bad. Enough to give me pause, unfortunately. So I’m more strongly considering Sycomore now.

I've been reading some very positive things about Guerlain Habit Rouge Prive. It's drawing rave reviews, with many commenting that's it's their favorite.

But is it not for sale in the USA? I can't find it.

hednic......do you know where to get it overseas?

It's one of my favorites and I know what you mean. But I just look at it as it's just a little drawback to being one of the best citruses out there. It just goes with the territory.

One thing I've learned is that spraying it amply on clothing (shirt) can really help with the longevity. And of course, don't hesitate to give yourself a good dousing as well. After I became more and more familiar with Eau de Cologne, it seems that I can smell it much better than I used to for much of the day.

I'm not exactly retired from buying, but not anticipating any new purchases. A couple of favorites are running low, so may be re-buying a couple of those soon.

But I never say never...

I'll probably be increasing my miniatures collection from where it is currently at just over 40 to 60 bottles, I really enjoy having variety and trying out rare and/or expensive vintage fragrances. So I'm just eyeing various vintage minis, really. I'm actually aiming to get my main collection down to 40 fragrances, so no new additions there except backups of Byredo Bal d'Afrique, ADP Fico di Amalfi and Rogue Fougere L'Aube.
