As I recall from long ago, Hanae Mori for men also had a chocolate note in it. Been a while since I've worn it though.

Quite a few great recommendations already, also mentioning Endymion EDC by Penhaligon's.
specially if looking for combination between milk chocolate with a mocha/creamy tone and even a herbal, sage-lavender hint.

This may be a mature guy take on it, but I like Jovoy Psychodelique for its chocolate cake vibe.

There are probably more directly chocolate smelling, and this has other elements. But for part of the wear it's got a nice chocolate vibe.

You are correct but there's a lot of lemony creme and florals along for that ride. I do love HM, what a masterpiece for what it is. Great price currently as well.

Do you think it would work for a young 60 year old? I got rid of it because I was concerned it might be a little on the youthful side. Serious question.

My favorite is still Guerlain L'Instant de Guerlain Pour Homme Eau Extreme (LIDGE).

Nasomatto Pardon is also a good one, but has more punch than LIDGE, especially in the opening.

I do love Jovoy's Psychedelique, and I find it similar to the two above. But instead of chocolate/cacao, it apparently does it with vanille.

It seems to work for this old bodied immature brained 52 year old! I don't actually smell HM as youthful, and it's a 20th century fragrance approaching the quarter century mark so even those that were youthful then are not so much now!
