Welcome to Basenotes version 10

Welcome to Version 10 of Basenotes!

There are a few niggles to sort out but we're back!

Here are some links to get you started:

• Please post any bugs, suggestions or missing features in this dedicated forum here - if you post them in this thread, I may see them, but I also may miss them
• For the time being, please post any missing fragrances from the directory in this forum here.

There are going to be bugs and things I've missed. There's some things you just can't spot until several thousand eyes are able to look at it, so please bear with me, it's just me doing it all

A few people were somehow able to stay logged on to the old site. Any reviews or SOTD or wardrobe changes you made after the site officially shut down on 27th September, WILL NOT be available on this new site. I maybe able to import reviews and SOTDs at a later stage, but it's low priority.

13:15 There is an issue with the site sending out emails. ie, it's not at the moment. I couldn't test this until the site was live sadly, so I'm on it now!

First, a few weeks ago, I had a request to change my username to ali-ir, which unfortunately has not been processed yet.

Secondly, there are some bugs in the new template of the website. For example, the page related to the following fragrance is not available: Kenzo Homme Boisee

Also, Wardrobe of other users is not visible to us.

Also, It seems that an "Remove" option should be added in the "Recently Worn" section of the Wardrobe:

(On my profile page), The number of posts I've sent does not match the number displayed on my profile page. (I had not sent any post before this post, but 1 is still displayed in messages part

Thirdly, there are some empty spaces in the reviews section that are not beautiful at all. I mean the hatched parts in the following pictures:

Fourthly, it is better to have a feature to see the number of likes received. (in reviews part)


Fifth, there was already a "note" section at the bottom of each fragrance page, which unfortunately seems to have been removed. Please return it with the information we had wrote in it. I also suggest that the information we write in the "note" section of each fragrance be displayed in our Wardrobe.

You can do this from your profile now. Click change next to your username

These will be filled with ads at some point, so make the most of a currently ad-free Basenotes

Wowweee Zoweee! My first log in since... What a change! I'm impressed indeed! Though I'm a bit overwhelmed with the novelty but I'm enjoying it and looking forward to the entire ride. A big shout out to the Basenotes community and celebration... Congratulations, Grant and teamsters!!

Go up to "Forums" at the top and pull down to the second option...."Find Theads". There's also "Watched Theads" below the "Find Threads".

You should then find options for what you're looking for there.
