For Ken, I'd recommend giving Creed Baie de Genievre a try. It's a spicy aromatic with juniper berries, cloves, cinnamon, vetiver. Based on some of his choices in the wardrobe, I think it could work.

Yes...technically the whole Hylnds line is discontinued. So tragic to like something that's supply is so scarce.Ever since you began posting that one I've been enchanted by the name. But....
...sounds like it's difficult to lay hands on!
I must admit, you've read my tea leaves quite well and given me 4 intriguing ideas! Just what i need...4 more fragrances 🤣And since @Pheusinger was next on the docket, I figured I'd dig through his wardrobe and see if I could find something in mine he might enjoy.
I'm going to recommend a few things from the sweeter side of your list:
- Mercedes Benz Club Black - A spicy "airy" vanilla that wears beautifully
- Swiss Arabian Shaghaf Oud and Shaghaf Oud Aswad - The sweeter side of the rose oud continuum. The gold bottle has a great saffron opening. The black bottle is rosier. The drydowns on both are lovely.
- Aaron Terence Hughes Homme - One of my favorite current iris scents. Recommended because I saw a couple irises in your collection.
- Misensir Mythique Vetiver - A beautiful vetiver with a lovely citrus top. Actually, this whole line is worth sniffing.

and also to amp up the carnation/pinks note in other scents
The link opens our own recently worn scents, so I looked up your most recently worn in your wardrobe and you have the absolute perfect choice for this synch, and it is...Okay, guys and dolls!
I would love it if you would be so kind as to review my collection and see what you think? I could use the leads. 💚😇
My collection reflects things that no longer suit me and they are on my swap list. However, marking them as swaps still keeps then in your collection. I dont know if you can open this link but these are my year to date wears: https://basenotes.com/sotd/charts/?&page=own&time=alltime
@yellowtone , if there is a peony flower that smells good, I have yet to encounter it. Beautiful flower, weird smell. In fact, whenever a perfume lists peony as a note, I never know what they're talking about. My beloved Dior Dune is a prominent example.
I had completely forgotten that some people refer to carnations as "pinks". Good pointer for a sync scent. I love a spicy carnation note, but don't really think I own anything prominent with it.
My wardrobe is so lacking in pink, frilly scents that I think I'm limited to just one. And it might collaborate well as a double-duty for a second Friday Sync scent, as well (happy and frivolous).
Interesting, so perhaps the 'peony' note idea is just based on looks then? And pray tell, what is your single pink frilly scent?
Talk about synchronicity : Peonies : a waste of space ? From today's GuardianIndeed, no excuses!
June 10 & 11 Peony season Wear something big, pink and frilly
I currently have a beautiful bunch of peonies in my house, but they do not smell particularly great. In fact, they smell kind of stale, like faintly bad breath. As far as I know there are also sweet smelling kinds, but the ones I buy generally are not those.

I remember peony notes frequently showing up in the fruity florals of the noughties, but I don't actually have any scent that feature this note myself. What I do have is the extremely pink YSL Baby Doll, an early example of the fruity floral genre that was one of the 2 fragrances I wore for years, before I joined Basenotes and expanded my collection. I still have a bottle that I barely touch, but I'll break it out for this weekend. It's a bright pink rose, with lots of sharp grapefruit and some grenadine syrup. It's a wonderful fragrance that brings back memories.
Thank you! That makes me very happy!! 😊😊😊😊😊@CeeTee, @Pheusinger made you a recommendation last weekend, it's on the previous page.
