After wearing this consistently since 2012, I think it's safe to say that I would own and wear Dior Homme Intense for the rest of my life.

Syncing with Guerlain Geritage EDT.
A wonderful concluding but also new beginnings fragrance, would likely enjoy to wear not just on both occasions but also as celebratory choice for whichever of these two first leads to the other... and eventually calls for the appropriate scent choice.

That's my dad's favourite scent! beautiful choice!

I have stated on many occasions my wish to be buried with my bottle of Terre d'Hermès. That remains unchanged!

WOW! That is a serious collection! I would have thought a vintage Creed would be your ultimate, but DHI is wonderful and you won't be running out of it any time soon.

In the "Janus/January/apocalyptic/unveiling/revelatory" spirit of the sync.....

May 27 & 28 - A scent for the end of the world - Not to be dramatic, but it's the end of the synch!

.....because there IS a new and even more awesome sync coming, I'm wearing Classic Flannel from B&BW. This is a limited edition body spray normally released in the Holiday season at the end of the year. It's most popular as a candle, but it's one of those "OMG - I want to wear this candle" fragrances.

Right now on the B&BW website, you can see a special on the perfumer who made this classic - Chiaki Nomura of IFF. She talks about the inspiration for several of her scents.

For me it will always be de Profundis, reflective, cool, comforting and calming

I found Du Profoundis to be quite memorable amongst the SL line.

WOW! That is a serious collection! I would have thought a vintage Creed would be your ultimate, but DHI is wonderful and you won't be running out of it any time soon.

Creed is certainly up there but I can also say that with some of the Chanels and Guerlains as well. I think DHI is one of the few outside of those three houses that I feel that way. I could mention Indult Tihota and Xerjoff Iriss as well but they aren't as easy to wear as DHI.

Brilliant! I was thinking of "Cadavre Exquise" for the same reason.

I'm a big fan of both Sycamore and Lampblack (& Fzot in general). It made sense to me.
