Was Eau de l'Occitane ever reformulated?

I'd like to know as well. I've always assumed it did and it's kept me from purchasing now, thinking I missed out when I didn't purchase the first time I tried it so many years ago.

Have tested this one consistently over longer periods of time (and in fact owning the version with the box and bottle shown in the first picture) and have continued to do so recently, possibly also in this newer version.
Did not detect any notable changes of the actual scent, however also with the disclaimer of not having tested often and extensively enough after these redesigns.

I've only sampled L'Occitan over the years (thought I actually have my first bottle en route now, after a recent discounter pick-up). But I recall this was a packaging change where they shrunk bottles from 100ml to 75ml and modernized the labels. This was followed shortly after by a price hike, which irked a number of long time fans of L'Occitan and Eau des Baux. Less for more and all that. Still priced well for what you get, but no denying it used to be an even better deal.

I always followed L'Occitane's men's scents closely because Eau de Vetyver was my signature scent for years, and I kept hoping they'd reintroduce it after it was discontinued in the mid 2010s. No such luck.

Interesting. How much did the 100ml used to cost?

I’ve had this and Eau de Baux recently and they were both great for me

Actually, I was curious so I just checked the internet archive - back in 2011, a 100ml bottle of L’Occitan was only $46. I think they did incremental price increases a few times since then.

The lineup back then was quite interesting - they still had Eau des Baux and L’Occitan, but also Eau de Vetyver and the less often discussed Eau de Badian. (Eau de Cade hadn’t been released yet.). I wish they kept all these in production!
