I have the same 150 ml plastic bottle...there is also a glass bottle aftershave with the blue liquid wich imo is a later batch. Imo this is indeed 70s. Monsieur Rochas as the Concentree version are very good scents. House of Rochas was on top of their game then.
I tested a little on the back of my hand yesterday evening and I was really impressed with it. I can say with certainty it's far superior in every way to the other bottle of Monsieur Rochas Aftershave I have which is probably from 1990. I've been looking out for a bottle of Eau de Toilette and/or Concentree for some time and they're either simply not available or more than I'm prepared to pay but hopefully one will come along eventually. In the meantime I shall enjoy this beautiful fragrance safe in the knowledge that 150ml should last me some time!

Thank you for your input. I don't find any resemblance to Lauder for Men, maybe i should rewear it and review it.
To me Ebene is absolutely wonderful and worth every penny. It is a shame that ot os not in production any more.
That's the beauty of fragrances isn't it, we all have our own interpretations of them. I find it curious you find no resemblance to Lauder for Men so I did an a/b today to see if it was me, one on one wrist and one on the other. I wasn't wrong, they are extremely close together, not the same but close enough to be 90% similar. Ebene is more earthy and musky where Lauder for Men is sweeter and more floral.

I also looked at the accords chart for them both, no surprise they are very similar. Now accords need to be taken with a pinch of salt as they are in no way definitive but a simple indicator of how the individual components come together to produce an overall scent profile. The accords in the chart below are far too close together for them to smell completely different!

Never heard of this one. Where is it from and how is it?

I can’t say how it is yet: the whole lot is an online order that should arrive next week.

Niro is an American company, operating out of Denver. I’d never heard of it either. My bottle looks old, and perhaps it is—it was reportedly launched in 1985—but Niro still has a (dreadful) website, on which it describes 303 as:

Complex fresh citrus accords with herbaceous notes, sorry, we can't describe it all. The int'l product thieves must not be given ingredients on a platter ;-) web site. Clean, exciting, fresh and sensuous. This is our signature men's fragrance. Men appreciate this subtle and yet very elegant scent. Your lady will appreciate this clean manly scent that will not overpower her fragrance. Our best selling men’s fragrance for 30 years. Evening attire or casual.

They ask $80 for 60ml. I paid a lot less. My expectations are in line with my cost.

Thanks for the reply. That's an interesting backstory description. I'm another scent more knowledgeable now. :)

Le Galion - Megara parfum

I'll keep an eye out for your thoughts on that one. The design on the box sure looks like a marijuana plant.

Jean patou - Eau de Patou. 100ml, Eau de Toilette, Demonstration tester.

It's stronger and more intense than the earlier bottle but smells exactly the same. I'm not sure what's causing the deeper intensity, it might be that the earlier bottle is a cologne and this one an Eau de Toilette, it might be the colour, evaporation, maceration, not sure.

I own both of those same bottles and I can't detect a whisker's difference between them. I'd be inclined to think the dark color in your conical bottle is just due to evaporation.

More likely lily of the valley:

@CookBot - I think this pic shows it’s not cannabis, which is not a note in Megara, and wouldn’t have been consistent with Dominique de Urresti’s old-school French perfumery aesthetic. (Check out Grace Hummel’s Megara article for some idea of what this stuff is about)

Hi all, I found this (mostly full) bottle of (I believe) vintage/early DRAKKAR Noir Vaporisateur EdT today at a Yard Sale for ONE dollar!

Hi nosey, Ooh, thank you my friend. Yes indeed, I've been rather lucky finding deals on pre owned Fragrances (some used some new in box). The thing is, I really pound the pavement (as it were) seeking out Fragrances from Yard Sales/Thrift Shops/Flea Markets/Junk Shops/etc.

There are a few resale / thrift shops in my area that I visit occasionally but the cat's out of the bag and I have some stiff competition in town as I never find anything when I go anymore. I may have to pay off the workers to tip me when something comes in.

I'm familiar with the house of Feraud and own six of their masculine scents, however not familiar with Feraud 2. How is it?

Thanks. Thats what i also wanted to know, lol. Hardly any info on this scent so i thought i asked around on Basenotes. I know its a womens scent from 1972, but was curieus about the smell. Maybe i have blind but it😄🙂
