Vintages I Bought - 2023

Two perfumes arrived yesterday, from the house Roberta di Camerino. I don't know why, but I thought it could be interesting to test them. And bingo, both smells very nice (only sniffing from the bottle.) Both are in the directory, with very few reviews, but as always, when it's reasonably cheap, I buy !
Please note the very uncommon shape of the bottle of L'Uomo R, and another weird thing: neither the bottle nor the box have the faintest indication of size printed on them. The box has no ingredients list, no size, nothing. The bottle has a tiny sticker at the bottom, saying Lic UTIF and 162 (allegedly ml), and that's all.

No barcode, greendot, EMB code or e mark. Batch code 6B45 returns 2016 in Checkfresh which is obviously wrong but rather confirms the first digit is the year. So 1986 would be my estimation, First version/Formulation.

It's fine, fortunately. I've read about the old versions being (or having turned) green. But it smells ok, top notes haven't turned, no floaters.

Since it's a 1oz recharge bottle, do they have the metal flasks? I thought it was only available for 3.3oz.

After searching for what seems like years I was able to finally track Serge Lutens Santal de Mysore down. I've been wanting a bottle since I did my Sandalwood quest and by the time I got around to buying it, it was out of stock from Serge Lutens. I couldn't find any place that would ship to the US that had it in stock and finally one popped up for me. I'll have a fleshed out review once I get my bottle in hand but it's on it's way!

Possibly. I’ll try to figure out whose Cuir de Russie after it arrives, and I can see if the bottle offers any more clues.
