It which has the dreamy powderiness of Guerlain's L'Heure Bleue EDP, in a more light and transparent way. It's an interesting development and I enjoyed the contrast. Still haven't encountered an early Coty I dislike and I've tried about a dozen at this stage!
L'Aimant definitely has a soft, caramel/sandalwood quality that you can compare to the "praline" aspect of L'HB.

Adidas, Adidas. 1985.

Layering after-shave with eau de toilette. I have 200 ml splash and 30 ml natural spray, I wonder whether it came in other amounts...

Halston Limited by Halston (1987)
(This is my favorite Halston masculine and takes the best of 1-12 and Z-14 and creates something wonderful. I confess that I haven't tried Halston 101 as of this writing but I doubt it surpasses this or the first two Halston masculines. I do intend to get my nose on that 101 sooner or later.
The performance of Limited is outstanding.)

Dior Dune Pour Homme (1997)

I'm enjoying going through my mini, but this one just feels a bit 'stiff' for me, I prefer my fig fragrances to be more playful. I have the opposite problem with Davidoff Good Life in that it feels a tad too playful, almost verging on juvenile, or at least too youthful for me as a man in his 40s. I think the only fig I'll be keeping in my 'permanent' collection is ADP Fico di Amalfi, that one just gets the balance right and is far more realistic than these two.
