I wish you the very best of luck! I've only ever seen one of these and it's the one I bought. I don't know when it was discontinued but I can only assume it just wasn't in production very long as there seems to be so few around.

As an amusing anecdote I received a bottle of St Michael Burgundy Aftershave with the recent Pierre Cardin - A Man's Cologne I purchased. I was only interested in the Pierre Cardin, this was just an added bonus. St Michael as most people of my age in the UK will know is (or used to be) an own brand of Marks & Spencer.

Out of curiosity I tried it one evening and it reminded me of something but I couldn't place what it was. Then it came to me, it's very similar to Dunhill Burgundy! It's nowhere near as good, you can tell it's cheap, soapy and unrefined where the Dunhill is smooth, well blended and sharper. But if you want a rough idea of what Dunhill Burgundy smells like and you see a bottle of St Michael Burgundy going cheap that will do it.

Quite why fragrances with the 'Burgundy' name smell like they do I have no idea, maybe this was their cheap clone of the Dunhill as I believe it was from the 80's if the copyright notice is anything to go by.

SOTA: Sira Des Indes by Patou. Tropical fruit, spices and some sandalwood. I feel like I'm a classy tropical drink on the beach at sunset. This fragrance is better in warm weather like we had today.
