This is a good, dependable vetiver. I am sorry to hear that it is discontinued. I always thought this had an iodine note and just assumed it was part of the vetiver profile, but the BN notes list iodine as an intentional element. Iodine (in small doses) works well with vetiver, giving an astringent, medicinal quality which I appreciate. The French word for Burma is "Birmanie" so that explains the spice label. That country is now known as Myanmar. What type of spices would be here? Perhaps coriander and ginger. Anyway, this is a good vetiver and you probably could still find it. Dry and wears well. Not heavy.
