It's my birthday. Feh. It's been a rough summer. My head is enough above water for me to finally ask people for references for a therapist, and I'm booked for an appointment with one on Monday. So yay. I was fishing around this morning for something cheerful and nothing really caught me, so I wound up with my default Maison Louis Marie's 'Bois de Balencourt'. It doesn't cheer me up so much as soothe me. I'll take it. I found the little 3ml travel bottles on sale on Sephora for $12 a while back so now they're sprinkled all over the house... for, you know. Emergencies.

Day three of my Honoré Payan samples - Vanille. A really nice, easy scent and happily not sugary sweet, despite there being sugar in the notes list. Lasts all day too.
