((((@kewart)))) I'm so sorry to hear about the covid and while you are on vacation, too. Best wishes for a speedy recovery! Wow, 11 medications! I suppose it is a case of covering all the bases - if you get this symptom take this one for it and so on.

Still thinking of and sending hugs to all that are struggling at the moment for various reasons!

I'm going to write up my new 2024 diary today, the calendars were done yesterday. I also made the Froot Loops (type) perfume oil yesterday and I'm planning on using it as a bedtime scent this evening. There was a IFRA recommended maximum usage rate of 20% for perfume oils on this particular fragrance oil so I stuck to that ratio - 20% fragrance oil and 80% jojoba oil. It does smell very strong so we will see how it goes, I can always dilute it some more if needed!

I felt like rose this morning so I'm wearing Eau Rose EDT by Diptyque. So glad that the wear counts are back, it is my 294th wear of this perfume so not many more wears until the 300 wears mark! I missed both the "Most Worn" and the "Last Worn" options in Wardrobe!

Wishing you all a good day!

Good morning all. How nice to see the site getting back to normal. I quite like the new look.

Sending wishes for a speedy recovery @kewart and hope it doesn't make you feel too rough.
@kosui no kaori lovely to see you back but sorry that you've had a tough time of it recently.
Hugs to everyone that still needs them.

I didn't wear perfume yesterday, as I just wasn't in the mood, which is unusual. But today I'm trying again, from my 'liked' bag of samples, Memo - Moroccan Leather. I have to say I still very much like this. Citrus and leather is a nice combo.

Take it easy.

Oh, @kewart, I hope you get well soon!
11 different medications sound like a nightmarish amount. Stay strong and get a little better every day 💚

@CuddleCat - wow, you are making perfumes now, this is so cool! Is this your first creation or have you made more before?
I took several months off from posting and I already missed so many things :)

I'm also very glad the wear counts are back - I am a little bit addicted to various statistics and numbers - I scrobble my listened songs on Last.fm, I log my read books on Goodreads, I log all my expenses into an app,I track my steps and so on and so on, so I really did feel withdrawal symptoms on this one :D

I'm wearing my beloved Bois d'Iris by Van Cleef & Arpels today - and it lifts my mood and fits the warm September outside. My citrus phase is fading as the evenings get chillier, and I feel like I'll be all about woods, iris and musks this autumn.
I'm visiting a friend in another city after work, and I'm excited. I missed her!

Hugs to everyone who needs one.

A beautifully sweet-leaning amber with a strangely sweet almond oil-ish (tamarind?) and geranium blend.

Remains of a Luckyscent sample that may need to result in a full bottle once I get my finances in order.
I need to get motivated to sell some stuff things lying around the house this Fall. Clear out the clutter.
I've been procrastinating since...um....

Hugs for all who are unwell or sad!!!

Thanks for the bacon sandwich JON! Actually, I only consume bacon about 9 days a year, during tomato season. BLT's with sweet onion slices added.

I love the coincidence of my bitching about the site then BOOM, the wardrobe and sotd returns, which is what I missed most...

Good morning all! I am not up early...I never went to bed. I have my days and nights flipped. I try to go to sleep in the wee hours and it just doesn't happen. The morning sun is not kind to my 60 year old skin. Yikes. I look much better at midnight with one candle burning. I need to clean my computer screen, too. Yikes again. I've read about it in novels but never really felt it in my own life... "the cruel light of day." ☀️

I'm sleepy just now, checking in with my sotn, which was really my sotd except that the sun was shining on the other side of the world. I smile because I tell myself I am on @CuddleCat time.

sotn was vintage Nahema; parfum on one wrist and EDT on the other, just to check again the difference.

The EDT exposed the base faster, as expected. Not a dry down really, it seems the structure is just more transparent as the alcohol carries the smaller molecules up, up, and away with greater speed. It's such a nice sensation...loose and open, all things accessable,

I decided it can't be the most beautiful fragrance I've ever tried. It seems a bit too medicinal in undertone...pleasantly so for me, but not an aspect I can call beautiful. Interesting and bit addictive, but not beautiful. It's even more interesting now that I have besmirched it's dry down with some Wicked Good Baby Powder roll-on and put on a sticky night time lip mask with mint.

I can tell this train of thought will keep me in a good space for happy dreams. I will continue this rambling post inside my own head, behind my own eyelids.

Scentless today for a doc visit and some lab work, but when I get home it's going to be a big blast of Le Parfum de Thérèse.

I too am a listing addict, which is weird because I'm a scattershot slob in other areas of my life. I think it gives me a delusion of order.

I've always listed books read, but recently started also listing every movie and TV series. I was overwhelmed with admiration for the listmaking of the filmmaker Steven Soderbergh, who uses this ingenious coding system so everything he sees or reads can go in one list:

I love the coincidence of my bitching about the site then BOOM, the wardrobe and sotd returns, which is what I missed most...

It was all for you, Phleg! :D

Hello and best to everyone. 🫂❤️ Our vacation was lovely but we unfortunately both now have Covid - Kewart I hope you feel better soon. I can’t smell or taste anything apart than the horribly bitter taste from paxlovid, and I feel like a truck ran me over. No perfumes until my sense of smell returns. 🤞Take care, friends. Xo
