Francesco Smalto. My feelings haven't changed on this one since I
first smelled it two years ago. Its definitely a staple for me. Still
reminds me of a fusion of Polo and Drakkar Noir.

Bvlgari Parfumee Au the Blanc. I really have come to like this one
quite a bit. Just like all the Bvlgari's....very quiet, classy, and
understated.

Diptyque's Offresia on me today. Under a white cotton shirt, which
is over camo pants and flip-flops. The stem-floral and pepper of the
scent is really neat with the foliage of the green camouflage! If I
do say so myself.

Tommy Hilfiger for me today... along with a springtime cold! I feel
like hell today! Sore throat, aches, the whole nine yards.

Today is a Comme des Garcons Eau de Parfum day for me.

I haven't worn it in a while, but I recently moved
into a new apartment and had the chance to "dust off"
some fragrances that were stashed in the back of my
cabinet.

I love the heart notes of the fragrance - today I'm
really noticing a honey, pepper, clove and rose
combination.

Have a great week guys!

Bill

4711 today. Guerlain's Vetiver yesterday. Love both of them.

Burberry Touch.....I absolutely love the shower gel for this one. I
almost wish that the scent were a bit more like it. I smell almost
like a coconut or pineapple note coming out strongly on it. It
layers beautifully.

Acier Aluminum today. I love the combination of citrus and spice.
The ambergris drydown is sumptuous. I find that AA also has the
signature Creed drydown, with a slight animal twist. Very nice.

Today is Serge Lutens' Douce Amere. Warm, spicy,
alluring....recalls absinthe in fin de siecle Paris.

Givenchy Gentleman for me today. I love it. Last year I promised
myself I would wear it at least once every two weeks, but it's been
at least three months since I've tried it. The welcome return of the
Patchouli Man, and his comments on this great scent had me getting it
out again this morning--thank you Larry and great to see ls ten
eleven once again!

Givenchy Gentleman is great, Eric, so take that!

Heh!

Roberto Cavalli Man for the second day in a row. Upon first sniff I was a bit dissapointed with this one, weak and uninspired, I thought. I was expecting something a bit more cutting edge. But I noticed at the end of day one, the scent was still hanging around. I also noticed some simalarities to the often discussed and much debated Himalaya. Not that it is a copy of it or anything, but still some similarities in the drydown. So far on the second day, I'm still liking it and liking it more and more everytime I wear it. Not cutting edge or a scent that screams its presence, thats for sure, but I find it to be a surprisingly tenacious and entertaining scent.

Regards,
Steve
