Does it still smells like it used to and how much does it lasts? I know that it wasn't a beast back in his hey-days.
Thanks!
Thanks!

Thank you very much. It had a very good-cozy-elegant smell but its a pity that they make it so weak.To me it smells the same. I have a vintage bottle, with the lettering scraped off, due to age, but I know it's an older bottle. I've also smelled the current stuff, and actually the current smells more crisp and fresher. Longevity/performance is very bad though, on me. I get 2 hours at best, with pretty weak projection after 10 mins.
About a year ago, I had a similar question.. having owning the vintage bottle.. I ordered a decant on ebay of the current formulation. They smell the same, and perform the same. Again.. wit the current just being a little more crisp in smell.
One I would not recommend is the Concentree, totally different fragrance, not very good either.
Had horrible performance on me.
I might suggest you taking a gander at Lanvin Lhomme Sport, Issey Miyake L’eau Bleu, Mugler Pure Energy ( although this one seems to be going for outrageous prices lately, you used to be able to get bottles for $30, and could probably find it in the marketplace for less) Possibly Floris 1962 (though this is darker) all of these are cypress centric fragrances with some sort of fresh component, whether menthol, mint, geranium, or eucalyptus. You’ll notice most who like one of these will like the other. They’re not the same at all, but similar vibes. Nothing funky smelling to worry about either.. no off putting chemical smells, which is always a plus!Thank you very much. It had a very good-cozy-elegant smell but its a pity that they make it so weak.
Yes, I know that the Concentree is different and not in a good way for me.
