Great shave on this Friday! Surprising too because I was in a rush this morning and that's usually when bad shaves happen. Luckily, that was not the case. Lovely lather and scent from the "Carmilla" soap. Three passes with the Tech and I finished with a splash of Aqua Velva "Musk" After Shave (+ skin food) and a splash (gotta get a refillable atomizer to put this in) of vintage Avon "Black Suede" EdC.

Found a new favorite blade with the Dorco ST-300. After trying around a bunch this is the one that doesn't irritate my skin while being the most efficient hair remover.

Fantastic shave this morning. Broke out Murphy and McNeil's "Barbershop De Los Muertos". An homage to Amouage "Jubilation XXV", it has great scent and lather. Three passes and I finished with the matching splash and a spray of Alexander Fragrances "Golden Rush".

Not any incense in this one as far as I can tell. The main note to my nose is a spicy floral from the Nag Champa. Everything else plays a supporting role, but the frankincense and amber are fairly noticeable too. I get absolutely no citrus or honeysuckle. I don't have the matching splash but I wonder if it's more noticeable in it.

Hope this helps.

Edit: Let me add, when I think "incense", something more along the lines of Comme des Garcons "Avignon" is what comes to mind. That heavy, monastic, deep, resinous incense... Yes, there is Nag Champa incense and you can burn frankincense as well. Guess I lean more toward the "Gothic" type incense. LOL!
