I estimate about 70 plus another 12 from Candle Day. How about you?

I want a good vanilla based candle from B&BW. Vanilla Bean and Vanilla Bean Noel have poor throws. Vanilla Bean Marshmallow is what I'm using.
Wow, thats quite the collection you have there. I have around 30 plus about 15 on the way from various sales. I've never smelled the Vanilla Bean Marshmallow before. My wife has the Vanilla Bean Noel body butter and it smells heavenly, I also enjoy using it on occasion in the evenings. I can see where most vanilla candles would have a below average throw, vanilla just isn't a note that stands out on its own accord but is reinforced with heavy and denser notes to make it pop. I will see if I can't smell the vanilla bean marshmallow next time I go to town.

Today the house is being scented with "Alger" by Astier De Villatte.

Vanilla Bean Marshmallow is an online exclusive, in fact it sold out during Candle Day.

It was way worse two years ago, I was sitting at around 150 candles! Lots of backup hoarding some of my favorites I went out of the way to own 10-15 each!

I am exactly the same way. The bulk of my excess is always backups. I just get such a sense of satisfaction from it (yikes).

I must say that the pandemic made my squirreling a little bit worse, especially during the initial times when you didn’t know if something would be available any time soon, or ever again.

To go from around 150 to around 70 is amazing! That’s a substantial difference, and very admirable.

I've got one of these but haven't burned it yet, it smells great cold so I can only imagine while its burning.

It’s very nice, but for me it has the potential to be cloying after a while.

I did love the foaming hand soap, though, when I used to use scented soaps.

Thats a shame, but nice if you're only burning it for an hour or two at a time.
I really enjoy fragrances houses that also offer home and other scented products, similar to what Le Labo does where they have shampoo/ skin care/ grooming products scented similar to their fragrances.

Update: It was fine! It ended up not being cloying at all. A success.

May need a backup 🙃
