Reconfirm my email?

I received a notice that asked me to reaffirm my email linked to Basenotes. I have no idea why it asked me to do that. I wonder if it was a spam notice that was sent to other individuals. Really strange.

Update - It happened again. It requested an email confirmation.

This happened to someone before and I don’t know if it was ever resolved. You don’t know if you should trust it. It would be a clue if the source and reason were stated in the message.

My email problems are different (unpredictable lack of alerts) but there are definitely some anomalies in the email messaging. I hope it all gets straightened out.

Yes I could log in but I couldn't post anything or send messages until I verified my email. I had confirm my email through a sent message by Basenotes.

I just got this out of the blue asking me to reconfirm my email. Locked me out of my ability to post into threads. Something about we can’t get through to your email? So reconfirm your email. Checked my email and emails were getting through just fine. So BN staff/techs why did I get locked out?
