Hello!
I’ve just bought a new Parfums de Marley Carlisle 125ml. It is my 3rd PdM after Herod and Kalan (125ml). The thing is that I have some questions about it, as it has some differences. To mention that the box and the bottle feel high quality and legit but the juice is not as potent as I tested it months ago. If somebody can help me with some information or opinions about the bottle.
1. The box didn’t came with the classic PdM card inside with details about the brand. (I wonder if this is normal for 2021 batches, they may have removed that card inside).
2. The batch has 7 digits instead of 6, as my Kalan and Herod. So I think this is happening with the new batches.
3. On the bottom of the box there is written 77% but on the bottom of the bottle it is written 81%. I know these percentages represent the alcohol quantity, so the more alcohol, the less perfume concentration. The question is why the box and bottle percentages are different. Has there been a reformulation of Carlisle?
4. Comparing it to the Kalan and Herod, the atomizer is shorter, even though it has the same quality. The top of the cap is not as crisp as the two and also the inside of the cap is different, but it is as heavy and as qualitative as the others. The label on the bottom of the bottle is also different, and has more information.
I will attach photos so you can see the differences.
Is it just a change of PdM bottles, or is it a fake one. I bought it from a well known online shop, but I don’t understand why the alcohol concentration on the box is different than the one on the bottle.
Thank you!
