papryus - Australian suppliers OR accord

Hi!

I have been hunting for Papryus oil/absolute everywhere and the only place I can find it is hermitage oils, minimum spend 200 euros for shipping to aus plus shipping cost, a bit on the pricier side of things at the moment for me.

I have not smelt Papryus on its own and want to get familiar with it, I have only found the odd seller on Etsy which I’m not too sure about what I’m actually getting, some say pure but then other wording leads me to think it’s a fragrance oil of some kind.

Does anyone know where I can get my hands on some? Or have any good building blocks for a Papryus accord? (Difficult given I haven’t smelt it before, I know)

Try diverting over to cypriol / nagarmotha EO instead. It's a commonly-available cousin (Cyperus scariosus) to true papyrus (Cyperus papyrus).

Thanks for the tip! I have been able to find Cypriol from some reputable suppliers (already sitting in my cart lol)
so I will give that a try as a starting point 😄
