I have sources for the discontinued La Nuit in all three variants, but I've only tried the EdP, which I loved. Does anyone know how the EdT and parfum varied? I don't really need to own this in three versions, but I love it for its skank, so I'll buy the, ahem, skankiest.

Thanks a bunch! :)

Well, I only know the edp and edt, but I prefer the edt to the edp.
The edt, to my nose, is probably as skanky as the edp. But it strikes me as less syrupy and sweet.
And I find it therefore more wearable.

Thank you for your input! I'll keep that in mind.

I do realize it's a stretch asking about different formulations of a long gone fragrance is a tricky thing, but I'm grateful for vintage folks on these boards who can help.

I have La Nuit in all three forms, and the talc, since it's my favorite perfume ever. The parfum is by far the best (as you would expect)- the emphasis is almost entirely on the animalics, and it's by far the skankiest of the three. The EDP is quite skanky but is more floral. The EDT is leagues lighter, is spicier, with more patchouli and the animalics sort of recede after the opening, unlike the others. The parfum, is you can find it, is just divine- the packaging is amazing- it's in a little metal purse spray, and comes with a velvet bag to store it in. I also have the talc, which is the skankiest talc I've ever encountered, and occasionally pops up on ebay for reasonable prices.

I went through a couple of bottles of La Nuit in EDT and am still enjoying my remaining half-bottle. The EDT on me has more mossy prescence rather than animalic anything. I do also have the parfum, which is another beast entirely. It's La Nuit thrown into the coils of a supernova. It's La Nuit at the molten core of a planet. It's... well, you get the picture. The parfum is worth searching out and the comments as to the nice packaging are spot-on.
