Lalique pour homme edp is an absolute gem imo! Happy to own a 125ml! (still wondering why u buy all those frags u don't like eg. like Cool Water, Chrome and this.........all are easy to test before buying.............)
Get hold of Esencia, that one u will like for sure!
Yesterday evening: The Masterpiece:
Slayerized: I don't buy perfumes I don't like, that would be stupid, wouldn't it?
But to decide if I like a perfume or not, I do not decide just by wearing a sample (or a tester in a store), to really appreciate a perfume I must wear it several times, in different situations, at home, at the office, at business meetings, for romantic occasions, during the day, during the evening or at night, during cold weather, during hot weather and so on and on, and on.
If I decide to try a perfume I try to buy a 125 mL (4.2 oz) bottle if I can, but normally a buy a 100 mL (3.4 oz) bottle, sometimes a 2.5 or 1.7 oz but almost never a 1 oz or less. Then I wear the perfume SEVERAL times before forming an opinion. Well, sometimes I decide I do not like a perfume but I still have over half a bottle left, sometimes I give the rest to friends, sometimes I wear the perfume occasionally trying to give it another chance, but I WOULD NEVER buy the perfume again.
If somebody makes a decision whether he likes a perfume or not after wearing a single sample I consider that person a fool, he may miss a great perfume that for some reason it did not work on that particular occasion, but that doesn't mean it would not work on another.
If that were the case I would have miss several perfumes that I dislike at first but ended up loving them after giving them several chances, Ungaro II, Aventus, Original Santal come to my mind as perfumes I really dislike at first and I adore now.
Today in the morning I am wearing another perfume that disappointed me enormously:
But I still own about 70% of the bottle and sorry Slayer, but I am giving it another chance.
No need to be sorry PC.......... I was just wondering but to each his own...............I have a completely different approach when to buy a fragrance or not and know pretty quickly if I like, going to like or never will like the fragrance. My only mistakes were some blind buys which were not to be tested at that time (eg. Devin, Mont Blanc Individuel, Giorgio Red, Quorum Silver or The Dreamer) which I all bought blind, disliked, still don't like and most likely never will like.....
A delightfull perfume but unusually for an oil, it doesn't last as long.
This fragrance is also made by Al Rehab (at least the same name, but spelled Dehn Al-Oud), I will try it hoping it smells as good as this one, but lasting the usual 10 hrs I get from most Al Rehab. I already ordered it.
