Recently I went on a trip to Oman and now I'm really interested in perfumes in an oil base. I just have a few questions, and I can't seem to find an answers for some of them anywhere yet:
- what is a reasonable concentration level for oil-based perfumes? 5%? 10%? 20%?
- how does a concentration impact the oil-based fragrance? Are lower concentrations fainter/more projecting etc?
- do oil-based fragrances (need to) macerate? If so, do the same principles apply as alcohol-based perfumes?
